ABOUT US

Hi, I’m Shaheen! I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 25 years, specializing in hair and, for the past eight years, in the art of permanent makeup. My journey began right here in the Hereford Zone, where I grew up, and today I’m proud to be raising my two wonderful kids alongside my husband in the same community. My true passion has always been helping people look and feel their best. Whether it’s creating a beautiful hairstyle or enhancing natural features with permanent makeup, my goal is to give every client the confidence to shine—inside and out. For me, beauty is about more than appearance; it’s about walking out the door feeling happy, empowered, and comfortable in your own skin. Permanent Makeup FAQ 1. What is permanent makeup? Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, is a technique where pigment is implanted into the skin to enhance features such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips. It creates a long-lasting, natural look without the need for daily makeup. 2. How long does permanent makeup last? Results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and the procedure, but most permanent makeup lasts 2–5 years. Touch-ups are recommended to maintain fresh, defined results. 3. Does it hurt? Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort rather than pain. A numbing agent can be applied before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable. 4. How long does the procedure take? Appointments typically last 1-2 hours, which includes consultation, shaping, numbing, and the actual application. 5. What is the healing process like? After the procedure, the area may appear darker or bolder than expected. As it heals, the color softens and settles into a natural look. Healing usually takes 7–14 days, with full results visible in about 4–6 weeks. 6. Is permanent makeup safe? Yes, when performed by a trained and licensed professional using sterile, high-quality tools and pigments. All procedures follow strict sanitation guidelines. 7. Who is a good candidate for permanent makeup? Almost anyone! Permanent makeup is especially helpful for those with busy lifestyles, makeup allergies, sparse brows, vision issues, or anyone wanting to save time while looking polished every day. 8. How do I prepare for my appointment? Avoid alcohol, caffeine, blood thinners, and tanning for at least 24 hours before your procedure. You’ll also want to arrive with clean skin and no makeup in the area being treated. 9. Will I need touch-ups? Yes, a perfecting session (touch-up) is typically required 6–8 weeks after the initial procedure. This ensures the pigment settles evenly and gives you the best results. After that, yearly touchups are recommended when needed. 10. Can permanent makeup be removed? Yes, but removal can be a process. Techniques such as saline removal or laser can lighten or fully remove pigment, though results vary.
